| I am writing this tonight to ask for a prayer for my family. As I already wrote, I recently lost my paternal grandfather to cancer. Since then, I also lost my maternal grandfather and my great uncle. I also got news today that my aunt had a stroke. All of this occured within a two week span. Please keep my family in your prayers. | | |
| Continuing my story from yesterday....
School has started back, and it is more hectic than ever. It's finally past midterm. My spring break was last week. The beginning of my spring break was my trip to Tulsa. After that, I was stuck at home. I had hoped to go somewhere else, if at least to Hattiesburg to visit my boyfriend's parents. That fell through, so I was stuck.
I have good news! I got a new job! I now work at Ritz Camera! I start today. It should be really interesting. At least I really hope so.
| Wow, I haven't written on this in a long time. A lot has happened since January, so let's get started...
I stopped working at Mervyn's at the end of January due to the store's closing. Remember that car I bought at the beginning of the year? Well after about a month the transmission went out. So for about another month I was without transportation. It really sucked. I couldn't get anything done without a car. During the month of February, my grandfather traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma to be treated at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Unfortunately, he passed on Wednesday. It was really sad, but I'm glad that we made a trip up to see him the weekend before he passed. Well, a lot more happened over the last 2 months, but I'm tied now and anything else I say probably won't make sense. I will continue telling you about my life tomorrow. Until then...
| I have had a WONDERFUL day today! I started the day off by getting insurance for my NEW CAR!!! Yes, you read correctly, I have purchaced a new car. A 1996 Mazda 626. I love my new car. I wasn't even planning on getting a new car until I saw a Hollingsworth Mazda ad. I went to the lot, and got my car for an incredible deal. Moving on... After I got my insurance, I returned to Southern another day to pay my school fees. As I attempted to pay the fees, I discovered that I did not owe Southern any money. Instead, thay owed ME money. A scholarship that I was supposed to get finally came in. Though very late, I got it. I also found out that since I have a job, I can have my new car on campus with me. Yay! I am just elated right now. I guess I should start getting ready for work. Bye! | | |
